Accounting/Payroll Specialist

We have an immediate opening for an Accounting/Payroll Specialist. This individual must have 5 years of experience in general accounting including A/R, A/P, General Ledger and reconciling bank statements for a multi company business. Payroll experience of 3 years, ADP Work Force Now is a real plus. Experience in Microsoft Office is expected including advanced Excel.

We are looking for a highly organized efficient and accurate individual who has attention for detail, possesses good interpersonal skills and works well in a team setting, as well as, independently. Must also thrive in a fast paced environment.

Finishing Technician:

Successful candidates would possess or be trainable in the following areas:

  • Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods on a daily basis
  • Good hand / eye coordination
  • Experience with aerospace level of finishing and deburring techniques
  • Ability to work on materials such as various Stainless Steels, Exotic metals, Brass, Plastics, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints (GD&T) and specifications
  • Identify print tolerances and perform work on these features without violating given tolerances
  • Understand and identify the eight types of burrs and rolled edges
  • Correctly use micrometers, calipers, gage pins and other inspection instruments to accurately inspect features
  • Ability to identify ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Operate ultrasonic, steam cleaner, powerwasher, and safety clean
  • Qualified to use the following equipment: buffer, dremel/NSK, foredom, tumbler and twister lathe for basic deburr and polish.

CNC Mill and Multi-axis Lathe Machinists:

Looking for highly skilled machinists to Set-up\Program and\or Operate high precision CNC Mills\Lathes\Multi-axis machines to manufacture complex precision parts.

Requirements and Responsibilities include:
  • Set-up positions must be able to Program\Set-up CNC machines based on print requirements and written instructions.
  • Selection and troubleshooting of tooling and fixtures
  • Document and develop a strong reliable process
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Ability and people skills to train in programming, setup and operation, including lean manufacturing principles
  • Mazak experience essential. G-code knowledge a plus.

Quality Inspector:

The QC Inspector performs dimensional inspections on high precision machined parts by using technical expertise and inspection instrumentation to verify conformance of parts to prints, process plans and industry specifications.

Requirements and Responsibilities include:
  • Possess the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints as well as an understand of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Know and understand the use of inspection equipment including, but not limited to micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gages, bore gages, optical comparators, gage pins and gage blocks, surface finish testers, thread gages and CMM's (vision and touch probe).
  • Performing first piece, in-process and final inspections. Maintaining current documentation by completing all necessary paperwork (in-process inspection reports, AS9102 first article reports, signing off on job travelers, etc.).
  • Exhibit good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills (not required):
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Operating and/or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's):
    • Touch Probe - Virtual DMIS and/or PC-DMIS.
    • Vision - Automeasure (Nikon).
